UltraImage IV Scanning System

ANDSCAN and TRECSCAN software can be installed on an UltraImage IV computer with only minor modification to the computer case and the addition of one interface card. The ANDSCAN software is used to drive the WCN-100 series of scanners shown below and a separate TRECSCAN unit is required if that capability is desired.

Portable Automated Scanners

The WCN-100 series of scanners come in a variety of sizes ranging from 8 by 10-inch (20 by 25-cm) to 2 by 4-foot (60 by 120-cm) areas and weighing from 15 to 60 pounds (7 to 27 kg)

System Features

• Full X-Y scan control, 

• Automatic couplant supply and recovery, 

• Gimbaled probe holders, 

• Remote probe extension and retraction, 

• Vacuum attachment to the part under inspection. 

• Scan speeds up to 10 inches per second (25 cm per second).
