Course tuition is by the developers of the ANDSCAN® scanning system. Biographical Info

The main two-day training course comprises technical presentations of the ANDSCAN® for Windows software and associated hardware, hands-on practical training using delegates’ own equipment, and presentations on scanning with ultrasonics, eddy-currents and low-frequency vibration methods such as Mechanical Impedance Analysis (MIA). Different versions of ANDSCAN® can be catered for, up to the latest commercially available version.  Additional technical presentations on related NDT topics can be included if there is sufficient interest and time.

 

The cost of the first two days is £500 + VAT inclusive of lunch, refreshments and a set of course notes. Up to two additional days can be attended, at a cost of £250 +VAT per day, during which the course delegates will receive practical assistance with specific technique development. These two additional days may, if the delegates wish, be dedicated to a TRECSCAN Training Course or a Waveform Analysis course.

 

The course is suitable for ANDSCAN® users who need to develop NDT scanning techniques. An understanding will be assumed of NDT in the disciplines with which the user wishes to use ANDSCAN®.

 

A certificate of attendance will be provided for the purposes of Continuous Professional Development and NDT personnel certification.

 

The course runs from 9 am to 5 pm each day. Delegates should bring their own scanning systems, flaw detectors and samples for scanning practice and advice.

ANDSCAN® Waveform Analysis Training Course

Course tuition is by the developers of the ANDSCAN® scanning system, which is manufactured and marketed under licence by Agfa NDT Ltd. Biographical Info

This two-day training course can be appended to the above Core ANDSCAN course and comprises technical presentations of the ANDSCAN® Waveform Analysis software, hands-on training using stored data, and presentations on applications. Additional technical presentations on related NDT topics can be included if there is sufficient interest and time.

 

The cost of the two days is £500 + VAT inclusive of lunch, refreshments and a set of course notes. 

 

The course is suitable for trained ANDSCAN® users who wish to benefit from the advantages of he advanced Waveform Analysis capabilities. An understanding will be assumed of the core ANDSCAN software and of NDT in the disciplines with which the user wishes to use ANDSCAN®.

 

A certificate of attendance will be provided for the purposes of Continuous Professional Development and NDT personnel certification.

TRECSCANâ Training Course

2 days (Preferably after the ANDSCAN Training course has been completed)

Commencing on dates arranged to suit delegates. Venue: Farnborough, UK or by negotiation.

 

Course tuition is by the developers of the TRECSCAN® Transient Eddy-current NDT system, which is manufactured and marketed under licence by NDTS Inc in North America and by Sonatest plc in the rest of the world. Biographical Info

 

The two-day training course comprises technical presentations of the TRECSCAN® software and associated hardware, hands-on practical training, and presentations on detection of corrosion and cracks.

 

The cost of the two days is £500 + VAT inclusive of lunch, refreshments and a set of course notes.

 

The course is suitable for current or potential users of TRECSCAN who need to develop NDT scanning techniques. An understanding will be assumed of conventional eddy-current inspection methods.

 

A certificate of attendance will be provided for the purposes of Continuous Professional Development and NDT personnel certification.

 

The course runs from 9 am to 5 pm each day. Delegates should bring their own scanning systems, flaw detectors and samples for scanning practice and advice.
